My mom recently stopped smoking and I'd like to get her a gift to help celebrate. She's been smoke-free for about one month, but this weekend will be the first time I've seen her since she stopped. Oh, and my step-dad got her a diamond necklace after her first week (!)...I wish I could afford something diamond to go with the necklace, but that isn't an option. I'd like to stay in the $100 or under range. I'd love some unique gift ideas to celebrate this great accomplishment! (She's smoked my entire life and probably before me...so, at least 29 years!)
go mom! that's a great accomplishment. this is just off the top of my head, but what if you gave her a charm bracelet and you could add more charms to it the longer she goes without smoking?
All I can think of to add is maybe take her to a make-up counter and get her new makeup? I know several of my former smoker friends became fixated with teeth whitening and lipstick after they quit.

How about a great set of pink & white acrylics. Since she won't have the cigarette in her hand, she'll have something pretty to look at and remind her of her great accomplishment!
As someone who already quit, I say go for the mani/pedi spa gift certificate. Either of those would be GREAT! It's stressful to quit and that would totally ease some of the tension. Also, you could throw in some healthy snacks so she has an alternative if she gets the urge to smoke...something like gum or mentos, or maybe even sunflower seeds or something along those lines depending on what her taste is.
