I'm trying to decide between all these boots by Franco Sarto (I've never tried the brand, I was just drawn to all these and they all happened to be the same designer). I'm looking for boots that will work with a wide variety of outfits, which is why they're all fairly boring/unembellished. Also, the first two boots are available in either color (light or dark brown), the last is only available in the dark brown. I'm just as undecided about which color I'd go with!

That's what I was thinking, I would have bought them right away if it wasn't for the heel...and my problem with #2 is that it looks like that stretchy leather which I'm not a fan of. And my problem with #1 is just that I'm afraid it's too boring

I think #1 is the best - they'll be so versatile! And, you can get a couple boot-bracelets on Etsy in different styles to add interest (they're kind of like decorative spats, in different metals and such).
I really like Franco Sarto btw. Seems like most of their stuff is made for actual feet, and I find their heels very walkable. And I have really picky feet!

Thanks ladies! #1 it is! I just bought them and I'm crossing my fingers that I will love them as much in person! I'm glad to hear you guys like the brand, I must be super picky because I looked at hundreds and hundreds of boots and these were the only ones I was really interested in.
Elle - I didn't known such a thing as a boot bracelet existed! Sounds like I could get the buckled look by getting one of those...now I'm off to look around the Internet and see what I can find!

Me either until I saw them featured on a blog I read! IMO the ones on Etsy can be a bit expensive ($20-40 each), and look like they could be done yourself with some chain, jump rings, and needlenose pliers if you were so inclined. Lots of possibilities, and then you're not locked into one style/color forever more.

oops just read you ordered #1 already. I liked all 3 actually so those should be pretty versatile. I haven't heard of boot bracelets either so I'll have to look into those as I have a plain pair as well.
You already decided, but I also like #1 the most. They are the most classic. Plus with knee-high, high-heeled boots, plain is fine. They're just innately sexy, no embellishments needed.

I agree. Plus, you can make a lot of different outfits work, both casual and dressy, with simple dark brown boots.

I like 1 and 2. Love the detailing on two. One is a classic style similar to a Jcrew pair I've owned forever. I have some Franco Sarto - pretty good brand, I think they run tts. For me it would depend on which color worked best in your wardrobe.
Personally, I've had the brown boots in my closet for years and still will for years to come. But lately, I've been feeling like the tan color is more "fresh" I love the combo of wearing the tan with an all black outfit. 'course tan goes well with neutrals too.
