So, last night I won this auction for a tablecloth and napkins I've been wanting for awhile. I go to pay this morning and as I'm looking at the invoice, the seller says she's leaving for vacation for 10 days and won't be sending my tablecloth until she gets back! She called it "vacation", so I'm assuming she knew she would be leaving when she placed the auction a week ago. She should have said something in her auction. I wanted to use it next weekend! Really chaps my hide! Here it is... Williams-Sonoma Provence in Terra-cotta. I think it's yummy.
My mom was looking at that. You will have to tell me how you like it.
I would be pretty pissed too. I hate when people do that. I think you need to email her and tell her that you wanted to use the table cloth for an upcoming occasion and ask her if she can send it. That is ridicoulous that she would set up an auction to end right before she goes on vacation. Stupid ebayers.

Yes, I hate that too! You know what really pisses me off even more is that they Expect payment to come quick but they lag on shipping. I would definetly ask her to ship it before she leaves because she could have easily mentioned that she was going on vacation in her description so you could have decided whether to bid or not.
She's already gone. I won the auction late Wednesday night, and I checked my email for the invoice Thursday morning. She had sent the invoice right after I won the auction and then SAID she was leaving the next morning, which was when I saw the email. I did ask her to send it before she left, but she didn't reply. I'll probably mention it when I give her feedback.
Oh and Ryan, I've seen it in the store. It's very pretty and a good quality fabric. I like this color and the yellow the best out of the provence line.
