or is Hayden Harnett getting a lil nuts with their prices lately?  I have a few of their bags (purchased for about $100-$300 each).  I just got an invite to their "Halloween Sale" where the median SALE price is $500.  The Havana hobo ON SALE is $498 meanwhile that used to be its full price.

If I wanted to pay $700 for a bag, I'd get a designer bag that wouldn't lose its value over years.  I think I'm over this brand.  What do you guys think?

I was just thinking that looking at the sales...I love HH and I like their leather but the bag prices have increased so much it's putting me off too.

I hate it when companies do that. J.Crew has done it, and I just noticed that Urban Outfitters has joined the club. I wanted to buy a pair of leather boots and you can't touch a pair for under $250...some are almost $500! I can understand that amount from Neimans or Nordstrom...but Urban?!

I've noticed that too.  And it drives me nuts.   If I paid $50 for a sweater last year, why would I pay $80 for what is basically the same one this year?  A lot of my old go-to stores have priced them right out of my wallet.

Me too!  - Cute, but for those prices, I'd go high end designer.  Especially at a time when other designers are lowering their prices....

I so hear you the only bag I ever even really loved from Hayden harnett was the Havana and I love that style but heard alot of the brighter colors bleed on your clothes and that's not very high quality if you ask me I was debating on either another Rebecca minkoff mam in tangerine or the Havana in Ginger and although the Ginger is a gorgous color I read that it bleeds so I am going with another mam I guess.

I had quite a few Havanas but have sold them all already because the quality just didn't seem as nice as I thought it would be.

I haven't had problems with the color bleeding but I find that the buttery leather absorbs every color and every bit of dirt.  Also, I bought a patent bag in December and it is already looking worn and the shiny part is flaking off.  Not good!

ha! i thought it was just me being cheap but yehhhhhh really surprised at their prices lately. totally sucks because if i was jonesing for a good quality bag without spending an entire paycheck, i could always rely on HH... now, not so much.
