Desparate plea for help - which cocktail dress is your favorite??

I decided to go with cocktail length and to focus on styles that might flatter my figure and obviously the same goes for color.  My coloring is dark brown hair with very pale skin.  I also want to stick with tried and true brands - which for me is BCBG, DVF, Theory, and J Crew.  If the dress seems a little plain, I probably picked it because I like the brand and think it will look better in person (for ex, there is a really plain dress by dvf that I think will be prettier irl).  Since I only have two weeks I really have to make the right choice, b/c if the fit is wrong then I don't have time to take it back and I can't just go buy something here in Istanbul as everything here is outrageously expensive (uness you know where to go, which I don't yet).  So, it's got to be good (I may get two and return one). 

Here are the choices:

1) unkown to me designer and may not be the best choice b/c there is no size 2, would have to be a 4 and may be too big (but i like)

2.badgley mishka; a little on the high end of my price range, but i like:

3. dvf, one of my favorite designers and i love the color (navy blue) also like the idea of gold strappy shoes and a gold clutch, which i already have (the clutch, not the shoes):

7.  seriously leaning towards this one - i just have a hunch that it would flatter me and i love the color and designer - shoshanna.  simple, elegant, classic and the hem-length makes it sexy:

I love 3 and 7.

The only one I don't like is 4 because it doesn't really seem "ball caliber" to me and also not very flattering on the model.

I love the DVFs...and I think with such a time crunch, you can't afford to try out designers you aren't familiar with.

I love #1 and 5. I hate to be the lone voice of dissent, but I don't like #3.

2, 5 and 7 - they seem the most formal. I don't like #3 either - the black lace appears tacky, but I'm sure IRL it looks nicer. I think 5 is my favorite for the occasion.

thanks everyone.  i thought about it a lot last night and woke up thinking strongly about nos. 7 and 4.   then, after reading these comments narrowed it down to just number 7.  hedvig's comment about no. 4 helped ruled it out for me - b/c i agree.  although not a lot of you voted for 7, I am still leaning towards that one and feel that it's a safe bet knowing my body type and what looks good on me, etc.  the fact that at least two posters liked it helps some.   

so now i think i am going to order no. 7 and one other dress and then choose btw the two when they arrive.  the second dress is going to be less safe and more fun i think.  it is not any of the ones above, i looked around some more this morning and found some that i like a lot better.

in a little while, i'll post those in a new thread.  thanks again everyone - this forum is so helpful to me!!
