I found a freaking sweet pair of boots on Etsy, in my size, for a reasonable price. The seller hasn't listed any measurements however, and the only thing holding me back from purchasing is knowing how tall the boots are and how big the calves are. I convoed her, but I'm afraid that someone is going to steal them out from under me! It seems like it would be uncool to buy them and not pay until I've heard and then just have her relist if I don't want them. What should I do?

It's only been a couple hours, but OMG these boooooooots! They're vintage and broken in most deliciously, and I will be devastated if someone swoops in on them before she convos me back!
They'd be $55 including shipping, and I'm almost willing to just be out that money on the chance they don't work ... which isn't probably the smartest thing evah ....

Holy shit, she convoed me back and I typed my info as quickly as my little fingers could carry me. Not fast enough, apparently. Someone must have presse their 'commit to purchase' button seconds before I did.
OMFG!

Another weird twist of fate - Paypal is being really glitchy. I got error message and page not found and blahblahblah. I checked in MyEtsy just to make sure - there they are! MINE!
Wheeeeeeeeeeee! And STUPID computers! Gah!
A little cleanup and they'll be ready to go - here's to hoping they fit good!

I had totally written off Frye boots until you mentioned them in my other thread Boots! I figure this way, I get to enjoy the level of broken-inness someone else took years to achieve, and I don't have to put up with the annoyingly stiff ankles while I get there. Isn't the patina on that leather yummy?!
Assuming I can make them work sizing-wise when they arrive, they will definitely be making appearances in a Threadstyle post!
