New Skirts... Two-piece flats?

I bought two A-line cotton skirts (upper-mid calf length) with leaf prints (one in green and one in brown), from H&M.





[This is from my scanner, I wish I had a digital camera right now. ]

My problem is, what shoes should I wear with them?

All of my shoes look very heavy with these skirts. I want to wear them to work, but I hate shoes with the toes or backs out. I also can't wear anything but low/wider heels (due to my total lack of coordination), even the kitten heels are out. Also, I wear a size 9 - 9 1/2, I don't need shoes that make my feet look any larger than they are on my 5'3" frame, so no pointed shoes.

Has anyone seen flat versions of shoes this style , without the ankle strap?:



Or, if anyone has some other ideas of what I could wear with my new skirts, I'd love to hear them.

Cute shoes lynnie, except for the ankle straps (they make my legs look shorter).

My maximum is $75, and the shoes don't have to be leather.

I like this style also, but the embroidery may be a bit much for the skirt:



Does anyone who has bought from Urban Outfitter know if these run big or small in size? Has anyone seen something similar in a solid or more subtle pattern?
