I adore these bronze wedges. However, they have wooden 4 inch heels, which makes me suspect they might be insanely uncomfortable.


And they are $128, which is more than I've ever paid for a pair of shoes. So should I get them or should I just forget about them? Impartial opinions, please!

I think they look much like many other metallic strappy wedges.... So I'd say you could get something similar for less, and probably something more comfortable, too. (But then, if you absolutely love them (and know they'll last), you should probably get them.)

I do love these exact shoes! I guess that's why I'm not really looking for a cheaper alternative. These just look so beautiful - no ankle straps, not too shiny, a lovely shape.


I'll probably just keep drooling over them until I'm over metallic wedges altogether...
