comfy shoes for lots of walking?

tomorrow we are going to the art museum and then downtown columbus is having an arts festival...


so lots of walking involved... and i am known around these parts to wear the wrong shoes (they go with the outfit!) for when lots of walking is involved.  the SO has been known to carry me piggyback just to relieve the pain from my tootsies and to shut me up from whining about them!


so.... i am planning on wearing my black gauchos tomorrow with a tank and was curious if you thought it would be safe to wear wedge flip-flops?  or should i stick with reg. flip-flops?  i dont want to wear tennies b/c of the outfit plus i am getting my pedicure tomorrow morning before we leave....


any ideas???????

I would go with the regular flip-flops. I have a pair of 1" flips and I regret just walking to the store in them because the height causes the thong part to jab between my toes.

thanks!  that is what i was afraid of... guess i'll just be a shortie tomorrow!  no high heels/wedges for me...  unless i take some with me to change to later on in the day when not as much walking would be required.... hmmmmm
