Where do the "bigger" girls here shop?

Just wondering where those of us here who are taller, and maybe a little "bigger boned" shop.  What stores clothes fit you best?  It seems like every top I try on lately is too short.  I'm 5'10" and usually a size 10 or 12.  Got some big boobies too, and that's most of my problem w/ tops. I'm looking for some cute tops that FIT!!   Anyone else in my predicament out there???  Am I alone???

i'm not sure if i (or you) are in the bigger category, but i wear a 6 and 8 and feel like a cow most of the time compared to most.  but i'm over it.  and i too have big knockers. 


anyways, as for where do i shop, i love BCBG.. it's my favorite.  but i don't have a store near me so i shop while on vacation and such.


i'm a fan of BR, Gap, ann taylor & ann taylor loft for work.


as for normal or going out clothes, i usually like bebe tops, but not bottoms. and like i stated before BCBG for all occasions.


my biggest problem is finding jeans that don't gap at the waist, but i think i have found my brand which is true religion.  they fit me perfectly.

If you need button downs, Banana Republic makes some that go over large boobs really well.


Also, A LOT of the Anthro tops I've been trying on lately have been huge on me. I'm a 36C on top, and short (5' 3" on a good day). All of these tops that are supposed to hit at the top of the hips manage to cover my butt and the top of my thighs in a size S. You might have a lot of luck with those since they seem to be really roomy and long.

I definately grew "bigger bones" 3 years ago when I met my hiusband. :) I am a solid Medium in everything.. 5'5, size 8 skirts, 10 pants..


I only buy Joe's jeans now.. and almost all of my shirts are from Gap, Express, Banana, JCrew.. Dresses are always from Nordies or Banana.


You are not even close to Plus Size, so you are probably okay shopping anywhere except places like 5,7,9... just like me!

I def. agree with Joe's jeans (they were the only ones that didn't have that awful gap when I was that size) and banana for button down shirts (they don't gap between the buttons in the boob area).
