I'm so glad I listened to all of you and bought the skirt - I got it today and it looks so cute!  Much better than boyshorts.  Thanks girls


 


Ugh - so I bought this bikini from Victoria's Secret a while ago:



and I've been meaning to buy the matching boyshorts for my not so confident days..



and now since they are on clearance at Victoria's Secret, the sizes I would need are sold out   Is there anything I can do?  Anywhere else I can find them?


I could just shoot myself

Try calling their customer service line - they might have a couple left in your size.  Other than that, maybe you could get a coordinating sarong?

I tried and they said no - that they discontinued carrying the boyshorts   No matching sarong either.  Ugh, I'm so pissed off.  Is my only hope now Ebay?

Meaning the skirt would be more forgiving?  You know those days where you just don't feel hot in a bikini?  That's when I need something w/a little more coverage than the bikini bottoms.

Skirt is so much more forgiving boyshorts tend to make hips look huge and are better on more boyshaped bodies

I'd get the skirt.  Even if you could still get the boyshorts, I'd still go with the skirt.  Much more flatering!

Get the skirt - you could still go in the water wearing it since it's the same material as the suit, so it would dry fast.  I like the suit much better than the boyshorts and think it is definately more flattering (hello, it covers EVERYTHING).  Pretty suit too :) .

Thanks everyone for the advice.  I went ahead and ordered the skirt.  I think all of you are right...I think the skirt will be way more flattering than the shorts.  I tried on an old swimsuit w/boyshorts and realized they aren't that flattering at all..
