I hope you lovely ladies have some lovely fall purchases to post! Because I already bought something that's going to put a damper on any further shopping ...
a washing machine service call .
And very likely a large vet bill (puppy is having strange symptoms and we don't know why).
Someone! Post something pretty, quick!

From ebay, a vintage silk dress circa 1920. This pretty lady cost me an arm and a leg and I'll have to curtail future spending until, um, a while. I've started a collection of dresses from the 20's -- an expensive hobbie, as I'm learning.
PS -- Elle, hope your doggie is ok and feeling better soon!

Thanks Elle! A friend is getting married in April, so (assuming I'm invited, which I think I will be) I'll wear this. That was part of my tenuous reasoning to get the dress -- that, and it actually should fit. A lot of vintage clothing I find won't comfortably fit a "modern" woman's frame.

That's BEAUTIFUL. What is swagbucks anyway? Is it worth it? I did erewards and didn't really like it.
It's just a search engine that you use and you can earn "swagbucks" which you redeem for prizes. It's super easy. I've already redeemed $20 worth of amazon gcs in like, 2 or 3 months. I just search until I get a swagbucks and go back to google or whatever. Also, when you refer people, you get swagbucks from your friends so the more you invite, the more swagbucks you get so if you sign up, sign up under me, plz. I haz no frenz! And you should definitely invite your friends to sign up under you.
And thanks all for the compliment. I'm on a sequin kick right now. I will be getting a sequin pencil skirt soon. That top only cost $22 shipped from eBay!

I went to a clothing swap this weekend and got a bunch of random OK stuff...and a Vera Wang Camisole! I left my camera at work (dangit) but it's navy blue with white polka dots, buttons down the back, and a ruffle along the bottom
