I am 5'7 and I loooooove high heels but I avoid wearing anything taller then 2 inches maybe 3 because I'll feel like a giant! But then I see women who are tall and wearing heels like nothing and I try to encourage myself to do so and I just can't.
What do ya'll think? Should I forget about feeling like a giant or should I stick to smaller heels?
By the way I just bought some amazing heels but I haven't worn them yet for this reason!!
Don't be ashamed - own it, girl! I envy you tall girls the sense of presence you have thanks to that height, so IMO there's nothing wrong with enhancing your natural gifts!
In all seriousness though, 5'7 is not that tall. 5'9-ish in heels is just not that tall. Is there someone around you who is making you feel weird for being tall? Making comments or something?

If I were tall, I'd rock heels every day, as long as my feet could take it.
You and me both! I can thrown on 4-inchers and not even scrape 5'7. My neighbor is 5'10 and you NEVER, EVER see her in anything less than 4-inches. I love it!

I'm 5'9 and live in 3-4 inch heels. I love being tall! But there was a time when I was younger when being tall made me feel self-conscious. I have grown into my height - ha!
Another voice in the chorus - being self-conscious about your height (or lack thereof) is one of those things that goes away as we get older and more confident.
