Meet Grizabella! We adopted her last week from the local SPCA shelter. She was found by a local hotel and the SPCA estimated her to be 10 years old (we and the vet think she's probably 6 or 7). At the shelter she looked stressed and in rough shape, but in the week we've had her, her coat already looks healthier and she seems to be gaining a little weight. She's got the best personality and is very loving--she sleeps with us every night and loves being in the same room as us.
Suasoria--yeah, she's a little cat. She's has a small frame anyway, but she's underweight as a result of her being a stray. She's now up to 7 pounds. We're treating her for parasites right now (awesome!) and so she should start gaining a little more weight once that's resolved.
There's nothing about her that seems like a 10 year old cat, so I'm interested what the vet will say once they clean her teeth and can get a better idea of how old she really is.
