looking polished: tips?

Oh, thanks I think the most important thing for me to feel polished is to have my makeup and hair done. If my hair isn't the way I like it, I feel "off" the whole day. Also, little accessories can help an otherwise blah outfit look polished, nice bag, fab shoes, great earrings.

And I honestly have learned a ton from being on stylethread/fashionhag. There are so many things that I feel confident wearing now that I would never have tried before. Don't be so hard on yourself, I'm sure you look fab! Sometimes we are our own worse critic

when i saw your subject line, i thought nails at first...hmm, maybe i was onto something w/o realizing it right away because whenever i have my nails and toes done, i immediately feel more "polished." accessories help too: bracelet, necklace, belt, scarf, whatever. i guess it's in the details that that put together look comes across.
