Okay so I'm all jazzed up about the new line that Gap is hyping. I went Saturday and ended up trying the Always Skinny and they seemed to be all over the place in sizing. I tried my normal size ( in other brands) .....turned out to be too tiny. So I go up a size and they are now huge. Finally I hit some that fit and off I went. Cute, cute ! I got the ones with the buttons at the bottom and a couple of the distressed in different washes.
I wore them today at work and just realized I've somehow ended up with Gap saggy b*tt syndrome! I'm so mad...all the stuff Patrick Robinson said about designing these for fit and specifically how they cut them to make the rear view look great.... not even! I was self- conscious the rest of the day. I'm thinking of trying to shrink the heck out them but then the legs will get even tighter too. I thought I hit gold because they do feel good on and the distressing, wash and details are great but the look just isn't there if they don't hug my a** !!!!!!!!!!
wow, I feel the exact same way! I was also super excited to buy some "premium" jeans that wouldn't cost $200 so I really, really, wanted to LOVE these jeans. I also bought the "always skinny" and even though they are pretty nice for their price point, they are in no way a replacement for my favorite Diesel's or AG's...they stretch out very easily and the the butt area leaves alot to be desired... I think they're fine if you're looking for decent "everyday jeans" because the denim is super comfortable and I like the wash/styling, but they have along way to go before becoming "going out jeans"...
That sucks. Thanks for letting me know. I was going to get a pair, but I've been caught by the afternoon "saggy butt syndrome" way too many times before and hate it.
Sad! I got the long and lean in the darkest wash and I love them so much I got a duplicate pair. They don't stretch out for me much if any. It must be the wash and/or cut.

I tried a couple of pairs... they were snug and very low cut, the skinnies just looked like leggings on me and were too stretchy to really shape a great butt, it more so squished me in.
I ordered a pair of the long and leans and a pair of the perfect boot. I like the L&L, but the perfect boot ones were too tight in the waist - I couldn't even button them. However, I have gained a few pounds recently, so I might be able to keep them.
Now I'm scared though that the butt of the L&L will sag! I hate saggy butt jeans.
I didn't even try the always skinnies. I think the rise is too low for me.
