I'm a little stuck on this skirt. I really love it, but I've only ever worn it with a beater. I don't really know what else to do with it. Any other ideas, or should I keep letting it be the star of the show? (p.s. I know I look like some kind of stuck up diva here...I did post a smile picture on my blog but I am really bad at posed smiles so I look kind of stupid )

What's the waistband like? Could you tuck something in? If so, what about a white short sleeve button down shirt, the juxtaposition of structured and draped could be cool. BTW you totally have that smoldering Scarlett Johansson thing going on!

Or you could combine twinkle star's and metric's ideas (which are both great) and pair it with a structured somewhat fitted white button down and knee boots. maybe add patterned tights like the ones from j crew in the post about fall colors (sorry, too lazy to look to see who posted that). it might take away from the skirt, but you could try it.
I'll check the fabric when I get home tonight. I'm sure it's synthetic...there is a lining underneath but the top/draped layer is relatively thin/airy. It's a light brown/tan color.

That's a great skirt. I'd keep it simple on top but have fun with color. It reminds me of a modern take on Mad Men which in turn reminded me that I saw Mad Men style all over Banana Republic.
