I love this handbag, but it is not real leather.  It is from shopsueyboutique.  What do you girls think of it and of faux leather handbags in general?  There is another message board I sort of lurk at and the girls there hate faux leather handbags, but they don't have a problem with faux leather shoes---what gives?  Anyway, I value your opinions on this, so what do you think?

I personally don't like faux leather. It looks attractive & the design is nice & will go with the variaety of clothes styles, however, faux leather has a tendency to quickly lose the "leather" look, luster & touch & within a month-two starts screaming: I AM FAUX!!! So, I wouldn't invest in it....

I don't think I'd spend a lot of money on it, but if it's good quality then I would definitely opt for fake leather over real.

I have a feeling that the fact that the bag is pleather AND it has the hardware on it may make it look a little cheap IRL. JMO.

I think it's something you really need see and touch in person. Some faux leather bags are better than others.

I like everything about that bag except THOSE studs. I like studs, don't get me wrong, it's just that those look off -- they seem more like thumb tacks than studs.

I never wear or buy real skin/leather, only faux. Some is better than others. Sometimes it holds up better than leather and of course is easier to care for.

I like the bag although there's too much gold for my taste. If the hardware was a dark silver/pewter I would like it a lot.
