I would pair it with a bright colored bottom such as a skirt or capri pant. I'm not sure where you are at but since it is outside im sure it will be warm so make sure you pair the jacket with something on top to where you will be comfortable taking the jacket off. I think a cute cami. I will look around for some more specific options.

Very cute jacket, but I wouldn't wear it to a wedding either. I was actually at a wedding a few weeks ago and noticed a few people wearing white, which I thought was very tacky.
Oh and sorry if that sounded harsh, it wasn't meant to be. And welcome!
that jacket is really adorable, but i agree with the others--you really cannot wear white/cream to a wedding, even over another color.
but beyond weddings, i think that jacket will be versatile for you through the summer. i think i'd wear it with different skirts and pants, even with khakis like in the pic.
I never knew about the white/cream rule to weddings if it was just a piece (it makes sense not to compete with the bride in wearing a white/cream dress or suit). My own rule is no black, becuase black is for funerals, not weddings, but I'm sure I'm grossly in the minority on that one. I should point out that I do not follow the customs or rules of attending weddings though.
If you do wear the jacket, I think it would look nice with a skirt, perhaps a pebble, or sandy color (something satiny, not muted). I would do a beaded or embroidered top, maybe a floaty cami.
