Just made my first order from Anthro yesterday and had a couple questions for those who have purchased online from them before.  I used standard shipping ($17), which they say is 5-7 business days.  Have you found that to be true, or do things show up sooner ( <~~Hoping)?  Are they based in Washington?  Cause I got slapped with unexpected sales tax (another $12), so my total suprised me a bit since $29 of my $94 purchase was not even item-oriented!


Also, does anyone have either of these or have you seen them IRL?

I've found their shipping to be pretty accurate, 5-7 days, sorry!  I believe that are based in Ohio (oh yeah, represently for my home state), so not sure about all that sales tax.  I just placed an order for those one jeans and I used standard shipping, it was $6.95 and I wasn't charged any tax.  I am in Arkansas, just for reference.


Oh, and I'm pretty sure I seen both of those shirts this weekend in KC and thought they were pretty, but I'm not certain, as it was a mad house in there and there was so many pretty clothes all around!!!


ETA: I stand corrected, it actually looks like they're based in Philly, PA.  Well, at least I was only one state off

i've had things show up quicker than expected at times when i order online, but usually within the 5-7 day period.

why was shipping $17? that seems high. the tax on those items also seems high to me. (you get charged tax if there is a store in your state)

also... i have that blue top in my cart right now. will you post a review when you get it?

Absolutely!  I'm hoping the sheer part of the neckline won't be too low . . .  Also, after researching the site a bit more I found that was actually only (!) charged $10.95 for shipping, as my totaly was $1 over the break for $8.95 shipping. 


And that totally blows about having to pay sales tax if there is a store in your state!  Arghhhh!  I am so going to the store in Denver (when/if we move there) for a huge spree - SANS SHIPPING CHARGES!

I actually always seem to get my orders from them really quickly (I'm in CT)- like in three or four days.  Anytime I've checked tracking, my orders seem to be shipping from PA.

hmmm... I'm thinking I received my order in about 4-5 days? I haven't seen either blouse, but I'm totally in love with the yellow one. So pretty!
