i don't know if it's "okay" but i've done it before. i've only done with camis that are silky/satiny b/c i like the contrast and usually do it b/c the cami is too low-cut and/or short to wear by itself. but i also throw a blazer over it too.
Are any of you the girl i saw on the bus this AM in NYC who did this perfectly?
She looked great and I would've taken a camera phone pix to show you guys, but that'd be a bit creepy on the bus. She was wearing bright kelly green pants and a white tank/tee, not a beater, but a deep V almost cap sleeve T w/a sweater tank (like from banana maybe) w/the same green and other colors in a V pattern on the tank. it looked awesome and would've looked great w/just the white T but even better w/the tank over it.
Iīve seen it in magazines, I actually read that they are trying to give a different look to the basic silk cami...I personally donīt like it! But maybe you could pull it of.
Yes, yes, yes!! As I said in the Kelly Ripa post, I've been doing this for well over a year and I think it's so cute! It really gives new life to a regular cami.
