Does anyone have this from Victoria's Secret. I want a cute lounging outfit like this for summer, but I'm wondering how it fits and the quality. I think it's pretty cute.
I've been thinking about getting the hoodie too, since it looks really comfy and I love the color. I have some VS terry stuff that's held up pretty well. I'm just hesitant about ordering it because most VS stuff looks way better in the pics than they do IRL. I'll let you know if I decide to order it though.

That's exactly what I'm worried about - a lot of times their clothes look way better in the catalog. I know their bathing suits are good quality. I'm guessing that you really can't screw up terry cloth all that bad!
I bought a velour Juicy type outfit a couple years ago and found it was nothing compared to the real thing. THe fit was bleh; way too big everywhere. It definately did not fit like it looked on the model. I kept it, but wore it maybe twice around the house.
I would spring for something nicer, for the fit alone it will be worth it.
Thanks for the advice Drew, but I'm on a budget, and can't really afford to spring for a Juicy suit. I'm pretty much only want to lounge or wear it around the house anyhow, so it will have to do!
Yes, that's why I responded. It was two or maybe even three years ago (I didn't want to splurge on Juicy either), so maybe they changed the fit on the suits. The quality was fine and comparable to juicy; it was the cut that killed it for me.
I just thought I would recommend springing for Juicy (or anything cut better) because even though I thought I was saving money, I ended up wasting the money since I never wore it. I would have been better off with nothing or saving up for something better. Just my opinion.

I'm defintely glad you posted this...if you would have been better off w/nothing rather than this suit, maybe I should just save my money and get a Juicy when I can. Thanks Drew.
Not for nothing, but you may want to look around at other knock-offs. Maybe some of the mall stores or Target, TJ Maxx, or Marshals will have something that fits like the model. Don't give up yet; with so many options you may find something at a bargain. Hmm, I haven't looked, but Ebay just popped to mind. Since these suits aren't the rage they were before you may be able find a good deal. I recently sold a Juicy hoodie on Ebay (practically brand new) for $20, which beleive me was disappointing, but maybe that means you could find something authentic and cheap on Ebay. It's worth a look if you know your size.
Drew - I don't know my size in Juicy, but I'm thinking I could try one on at a dept. store and then look on Ebay once I know what will fit. Thanks for your advice
Thanks Drew for posting the link. One thing - I am not wanting the green color..I posted it because that's the only full picture I could find. I'm more interested in pink or blue I think.
I have a VS navy terry jacket with the motorcycle collar (like the ones Juicy had a few seasons back) that fits me well. I got an XS, since VS stuff runs big. That's why I might get the VS hoodie, since I have an idea of how it will fit and I can wear it now and wait for the Juicy to go on sale.

What size are you typically? I just want to get an idea of how much to size down if I order this suit. I just talked to one of my friends and she has this VS suit in pink and she loves it. I may still order it.
I have this and it does not fit like it does on the model. I still like it though. In my case, the top fits better than the bottom...which is kind of droopy.

Do the pants fit you sizewise, or did you buy them too big? Just wondering what causes the droopiness.

I am typically a S at J.Crew and BR, and an XS at Gap (their vanity sizing runs huge!) I'm not planning to order the pants, since they look like they might be a bit too high-waisted for my taste, and the top I would probably order an XS, since in my experience that's what size I am in VS tops.
