So I'm debating on bags. By the way, for anyone that read the initial post, this has worked incredibly well as a distraction strategy--at this point I am looking forward to buying a bag so much that I almost hope I DON'T get the internship. But do any of you ladies who own one of these have input? For example, I can't tell if the trigger will go over the shoulder--I always see women in NY carrying them on their forearms but I don't know if that's by choice or necessity. I like the lollis because they definitely go over the shoulder, but the leather looks so fine and delicate that I wonder if they will start to look misshapen once I put all my crap inside. Are they lined thickly enough so that doesn't happen? The other problem is that I tend to forget that 85% of the time, I am carrying my backpack or my sleepover-at-BF's-house tote bag or both, which kind of ruins the effect of the dazzling elegant trigger. Urgh. Maybe I should just get an ipod? Oh and I took off the tami lyn ones... I somehow missed the fact that they were a literal knockoff of the balenciaga, so forget it!
if you don't love any bag as much as the trigger, then you should get the trigger or you won't be happy. It doesn't matter if all of us agree on one other bag, you LOVE the trigger. Get it & be happy! Congrats by the way
PS - i personally like that first platinum / gold color. it is "new" neutral & beautiful

i own a small trigger and i can fit it over my shoulder no problem. it's surprisingly larger than it looks. it's a great, great, great bag. i have had mine since 2003 and it's an amazing bag. i'm a little biased, but i have to say that the botkier is more durable than the lolli. lolli's leather is buttery and soft but it's also very thin. botkier is all hand-made (and it shows) and the leather is very durable.
when i first got it, i was disappointed when i started seeing alot of girls with them and then even the fakes.. but i still look at girls with other colors and other sizes and say, "ooh i want that!"
i also own a hollister which is HUGE and a great bag to hold overnight stuff.
my botkier is the large trigger and it fits over my shoulder perfectly. i think you NEED one.

yeah dot that's what I was afraid of with the lolli. beautiful leather, but possibly too delicate. and I totally agree--I live in NY where they are everywhere but I still LOVE them. I think it's because they're so versatile--my style is so all over the place (corporate/preppy for work one day, design student another day) that I appreciate a bag which can go with either vibe, depending on what else I'm wearing.
Damn now I want one so much that I might get it even if I get the damn internship! AAARGH!
i think it's so pretty. it's called gold, but it almost looks camel. i can't justify it after the kooba bag.
