Hubby and I are going to a wine tasting event in DC in 2 weeks. The dress code was specified as "no sneakers, please." The event is going to be held at a nice (but not super fancy / jacket required)restaurant in the area. Here are my ideas for outfits so far. #1: Off white embroidered skirt w/ either the patterned Ann Taylor top or the coral top. #2: Anthro top I bought recently and haven't worn yet! I don't think I have any bottom pieces to do it justice. Suggestions? #3: Blue and tan ruffled cap sleeve shirt and random Maxstudio pants. #4 Dark olive (the pic makes it look black) bebe top and white capris. Or option #5: Bleah! Go buy a new outfit! Be honest.
Thanks berryahou35! I could see the pics and had no way to know you all couldn't.
All very cute - I love #4, but if you really want to wear your anthro top, can you pair it with the skirt in #1 or pants in #4? Do the fabrics clash? I love outfit #3 too, but I like the other picks for this occassion.

I love outfit #4. Please beware of spillage!! I dribbled red wine on a white shirt at a wine tasting once. Didn't matter cause it was late in the event. No one cared. I know I didn't!!
#4, I really like those pants. I would wear a coverup though with any of those sleeveless or short-sleeved tops--if you are like me, you are freezing everywhere.
Have you tried a pair of dark trouser jeans to go with the anthro top?
