because I've already bought so much stuff for my PR trip (but most of it can be used as summer wear as well)...

but be honest, can I really use this bag when I'm not at the beach? I like this bag because it's not ridiculously expensive; it's got a long strap; it's leather; and it goes with both dresses that I'm wearing for the events in PR.

But do I need this bag? or would I be better off getting something that was like $20 or $30 and never use it again.

Are those discs made of shell? Love the bag, and I def. think you can wear it to places that aren't the beach! Although I am v. into shell and MoP etc.

oh, i think it's really pretty!  i am partial to seashell anything though, so i have that bias.  i think it'd be cute with simple jeans/tee/blazer outfits for going out on summer evenings when you get back to the city, though.  it seems like something you will get enough use out of.  and if it goes with both of your vacation outfits, i think it's a solid buy.

Oh, I have seen that bag IRL and I haven't been able to get it out of my head.  I think it's beautiful...the leather is super soft and it's the prettiest shade of blue.  I have thinking about building an outfit just for this bag.  If you already have a couple of dresses that it would work with you should get it.  IMO it is strictly a summer bag, but not just for the beach.  I think you could make it work at home as well...a summer night out...dinner and drinks al fresco...and that bag makes an otherwise generic cami and skirt/pants interesting.

Ooohhh!  I LOVE it!  But I am also very in love those shells, MoP (:P), etc.  I wouldn't limit it to the beach. I'd wear it out at night and all summer long....

That bag definitely rocks. If you're up for spending the $$ on it, then go for it, because I think you'll be able to wear it all throughout the summer.

i love it and cannot stop looking at it. if i weren't over my bag buying limit for the week i'd make it mine.

i think you could get some serious use out of it and carry it for many years. it's fabulously pretty and i could see myself carrying it even 10 years from now.

i'll be the only voice of dissent, but i think you can find a similar bag for cheaper.  i have never seen it though.  it's a lot of money for a shell, fun bag.
