This is the Sundae dress from Anthro from last summer. It is a t-shirt knit kind of material and is by the brand Velvet. Does the runching emphasize my pooch too much(need to do more sit-ups)? I wore it like 4 times last summer. Should I keep it or ebay it and make some shopping money?
Thanks girls, I know I can count on you all for an honest and objective opionion
I agree with shopchicago33--no pooch, but I voted ebay it because you do not seem to feel great in it, and you can probably make a decent chunk of cash with it so you can buy something that makes you feel fabulous!

I voted to keep it because I think the style looks great on you - and you DEFINITELY do not have a pooch. I think the pale color may be why you don't feel fabulous in it. Have you tried it with a bright scarf or some brighter accessories in a flattering color near your face? Maybe a scarf tied like a headband or a turquoise necklace or something? I think it needs more color in the outfit to be more you. But I could be wrong. You have great style by the way - I always love seeing your posts!
I think it looks great on you. I have that dress in the slate blue color, minus the flowers at the top. I was considering eBaying mine too, even though I like it, I'm just not super sure. My main concern is that the armholes aren't big enough and I always feel like something is there and it bugs me.
I own one of those velvet t-shirt dresses as well and IMO they're really great basic dresses that you can wear casual or dressier. I think one of the reasons the dress looks off is because it looks like you're pulling it down too far so the torso looks unnaturally long so it accentuates any lumps and bumps you might have (but what pooch do you speak of...I see none). Maybe if you pulled the dress up so that the ruching could be more gathered....then it would look better and hide any flaws? But I do think the pale pink color is too pale with your skintone, though. I love the dress, but I don't think it's quite right for you and I'd ebay it.
Please forgive me if I sound harsh or crass. I want to tell the truth and I mean the best.
i hope this makes sense, but i think that dress has too much fabric for your petite frame. in my opinion, the dress wears you, you don't wear the dress!

exactly my thoughts.
And if you have a pooch, then I'm the Queen of England. You are nuts!
Ok girls, I listed the dress on ebay (the link is in the ebay section). I think the problem is that it is really a size too big so the fabric isn't getting stretched out enough on me. Anyway, I hope it goes to a good home
