I recently got some Ray Ban classic aviators. I like that they have a few styles with different size lenses so you can get ones that fit your face. They have like a lifetime warranty, might be worth checking out too.
I got some Ray Ban aviators, too, but not the classic. They are too big for my face. I have a pair that have a slight wraparound, and I really love how they look on me. :) They are definitely a classic shape that you can always wear...
I am totally on a search for aviators also! I have a round face, only certain styles look good on me. Don't they make you feel like a rockstar though???
I agree with Suasoria...but glasses can look vastly different depending on your face shape so I think it's worth trying them on.
I'm on the hunt for sunglasses right now and I hate it! I definitely want as much UV protection as I can get, but everything I see with UVA AND UVB protection is at least $70...which I don't want to spend because the whole reason I need new ones is that I drop/sit on/lose glasses at least once a year.

I'll be honest. I only buy cheap sunglasses because I tend to break/scratch/lose them easily. I love aviators and just bought a pair at Forever 21, but I've seen them at Target.
Now if you are more careful than I am with sunglasses, I think your should definitely go for it with the expensive pair. The sun protection is worth it and they are a classic shape you can wear for years.

I went to Nord today to see if I could find them, but I didn't see them. The sales rep was held up with these two obnoxious women who were complaining about the large size of the case in which their new sunglasses came - like for 15 minutes!
Kelly - try SteinMart. You might have to make a couple visits to find the right pair, but you can often find a good deal there on a good name. I think their new stuff comes in on Tuesdays.
