Swimsuit Help!
Permalink Closed

Okay, so I still have some toning to do but I'm hoping by next month I'll be somewhat ready to put on a swimsuit.  Since having Hayden, I've stuck mostly with "tankini" type suits.  I was a bikini girl before but the remaining flab and stretch marks have gotten me away from that!!

My plan was to wear a bikini this year and to feel comfortable in it.  Well, I've come to the conclusion that may not happen.  Even though I feel better about my apperance in the suit, I'm having a hard time getting past the stretch marks. no

So, I set out to find a modern/sexy one piece and came across this, which I love.  I'm totally not a "tatoo" type girl but I love Ed Hardy's designs.

My question is, do you think I could add cups to this suit??  Has anyone had cups sewn in to a suit before??  I tried on a suit in this style (not color/design) and the only downfall was that it had no support/cups.  Other then that, I felt good in it! Any advice on anything I could do??

TIA!!!

I've heard of people having cups sewn in, although I don't have any experience with that myself. Maybe buy it and bring it to a tailor without taking the tags off to ask for advice?

I've done, it, you just need to buy the cups and bring them to a tailor, mine does not keep them in her shop.

Hi!
That's one sexy number:)
However, I suggest you buy the swim suit with the cups already sewn in: swims suites look like nothing ( a small piece of fabric & a few strings), however it's one of the most difficult things in pattern, fit & sewing to create. It requires special fabric & machinery to sew, do not try to sew in the cups unless you're ready to spoil a pricy swim suit. When it doesn't have cups - it's meant like that in pattern & stretch. Find the one that has to feel comfortable & look sexy.

Before you buy it, ask around and see which tailor will do it for you. Then go from there. That's one hot one piece! I love it! I'd wear it if I had bigger boobs

Thanks ladies!! I actually ordered one from Zappos in the same style (different design) and played around with it the other night. I may not even need the cups. Seems if I tighten and tie right it looked pretty good and DH LOVED it. I didn't like the design on that one but I love this one. It's on preorder!! ;)
