Because my son has a form of autism, we spend most of our time dealing in fact.  He loves logic...and bald fact...and evidence...especially visually.  Being able to see that something is real and how it works keeps him calm. 
On the flip side of things, I as the parent want to instill in him that sense of childhood wonder...the belief in things unseen and the ability of imagination to fill in the holes.  So I do go out of my way to encourage him to explore the possibilities...we read fantasy books and watch fantasy movies, etc...
In the last two weeks he lost his first two baby teeth (huge, right?!?) and he determined that if the tooth fairy was coming, she needed a place to rest...and a safe place to find his tooth (he might roll over her and smoosh her if it was under the pillow!  So we built this:

That is pretty cool. I thought it was life sized at first but then noticed the tray. I can't get over all the detailing yall put in to it. Very awesome.
