OK guys I need your advice.  I got the cream Mayle wedges in a size 40 and they are too big- completely slip off.  I called Satineboutique.com (where I bought them) and they have a 39-last pair- they can exchange it with and they are on hold for me.  That would cost me just the return shipping, and I will have the shoes for about $310 total.  Or...I called Mayle.  They are checking if they have a size 39 in the caged back mid-heel wedges in the black/copper or the navy/pink metallic.  I think they have both.  If they have them, they could send me those.  But I haven't seen either of those- pictures or in person.  That would cost me $350 + $12, $362 plus the $8 that I wouldn't get back from the Satine return, plus more return shipping, + tax, so in total around $390.  That's an extra $80 plus more of a headache!!  But I don't know if I picked the best color combo- I like the cream color but I'm unsure-the black/copper and the navy/pink sound really pretty.  Is it worth the extra money to get a diff. color?  Has anyone seen these in person that has some feedback?

These are the cream.  I probably want these for $310 or the black/copper for $390.  They're such sexy shoes- I think black would be better but is it worth the extra $$$ and headache?  I have cream cracked flats that would go with a lot of the same things as these.  I don't have any black dress shoes.  Which color is better??

Wow-hard choice-my gut feeling is stick with the cream-I am trying to envision between the two which would look sharpest, and I keep thinking the cream.  Don't pick the black just because you don't have black shoes-you can always get black shoes.

I think the creme/bronze are awesome and especially look great for summer!  But the blue/pink ones sound interesting too, hmm, is there a pic anywhere?

everyone knows i'm obsessed with these shoes! cream is awesome! they look cute with the outfit you're wearing. i agree that you can get black shoes, even black wedges every now. the design of these shoes is so special. you don't want to play down their special-ness with a zzzzzzz color!

i swear if i had the money (and if they had my size!) i would buy all the colors.
