i am looking for a soft, comfy, strapless bra to wear with little summer dresses with thin straps when it's 100+ degrees outside and i want to be comfortable. i have a strapless bra now but it's too thick/structured/much of a PITA to wear in the heat. i want to wear something thin and soft that i won't feel or notice, if that makes sense.
i guess my other option is to wear a beater under my dress so that i can wear a regular bra, but i thought i'd see if there are any great strapless bras out there that would fit the bill.
I can't promise it is comfortable (I've never found any strapless bras truly comfortable) but this is honestly the only one I've ever felt completely secure in, and I've tried tons. I'm a 32DD/E, and it is the best!
Prima Donna Satin Convertible/Strapless, comes in nude, white, and black. This isn't a very flattering picture, it's actually pretty, although very plain. And it doesn't have padding or anything, if you were concerned about that.

Yeah, I have never found a comfortable strapless, I have one from Va Bien that could be a medieval torture device. I think the bigger you are the less comfy they are. Also its really hard to find a strapless thats not padded all to heck. I'm a D...why the heck do I need padding?
I have one that is essentially a bandeau which is very comfortable for summer, but not super supportive. It has elastic at the top and bottom, so if you aren't huge it would work. I forget the brand, but I got it at Kohls.
my favorite strapless bra was a calvin klein bra from macy's. it had a little padding, not too much, but i stayed up really well and it was quite comfortable. looked like this one: calvin klein perfectly fit underwire
i've also had good luck with the VS body by victoria strapless bras, although they are a bit thicker:
ETA: i'm a 34B/34C btw, in case that makes a difference...

thanks everyone! i think i have that vs one that clotheshorse posted and it is just too structured for me. and yes metric, that's the problem w/ a lot of options is the padding, which i do not need (i'm a 36c). i may try the option mentioned by greendiamond - i would love a non-padded option if a bandou doesn't give me a uni-boob (haven't treid it in a while). thanks again!
I just bought a strapless bra from Felina, but all seamless, very light, no push up ( 34 B), seems light, good shape, in the fitting room seemed comfortable, haven't worn it yet. Looked for CK strapless, bu they had a push on the inside bottom.
