I have never been that fascinated by designer jeans because I don't wear jeans alot, but recently I haven't been able to get it out of my mind that I want some pink a pocket sevens. I think shopaholic posted some she found on ebay for a good price. However, I would really prefer to buy them from a store like nordstrom, eluxury, etc. Do you know if they are still carried by stores? Also, I have no clue what size to order. Those European sizes confuse me and I have heard these jeans run small. I wear a 6 in the Walmart Levi Strauss stretch jeans. In other stretch jeans I wear an 8. I am about 5'6" and weigh 125 lbs. Could someone give me some idea what size I might wear? Thanks everybody.
i'm not 100% on this but i believe that seven stopped making the pink a pockets. i haven't seen them in a store since last summer, hence the large number that have been appearing on ebay and most recently the streets of nyc. if i had to guess i would say you're a 29, but it also would depend on your hip/waist ratio.
They are from cavenders.com. Its a lesser known online store, mostly western clothing, but I just searched on google and found them. It looks pretty reputable. I haven't seen the begonia's in stock anywhere else. I think you are probably a 29.
I know nothing about designer jeans so if I buy a pair I want to be sure they are authentic (the reason I don't want to buy them off ebay). Do you think the $118 is a good price?
I think they are on sale, usually they retail for around $160, so yes its a good price. If you are still wary of authenticity, you can email the manufacturer and ask if they are an authorized retailer. I have done this for some COH jeans I bought a while ago.
I have that exact pair and they were $160 last year. I loooove mine I am sure if you splurge you will love them too. Just an FYI size up one in the A pockets.

Thanks rocky. I just attempted to order from cavenders and I got a message saying the jeans were not available. Drat!! Thanks anyway for your help.
I noticed on ebay that many vendors show several pictures of the inside of the jeans. Do you think it would be safe to say those are authentic? Some even have a tag that says "Beware of fake sevens.." or something to that effect.
Meow, if you post some of the auctions I will look at them and tell you if they are okay or not. I pride myself on being able to tell the diff with Sevens:).

They both look okay Meow, I wish I could see the inside tag though. One caution; in the second listing the middle pic is not of the A Pockets. That is the front of the Dojos. Notice the hem is longer like a trouser on the middle pic, but on the last pic it is the rolled denim hem. Good luck!!

Farrah, thanks for your help. I have one more listing I want to get your opinion on as to their authenticity. The only thing I don't like about this seller is the return/exchange policy.
Meow - I really think you should look into 29s instead of 30s. I wear a 28 (if stretchy) or 29 for non, and I'm the same height (maybe half inch taller) and weight as you.

Meow- I'm not sure if I'd buy either from these 2 auctions. The first auction she says she bought them from another ebayer and they don't fit right on her. Well the pics are fuzzy and the last auction she won was from a jeans powerseller on ebay who has private feedback and made the auction private so you can't see it whereas all her other purchases are open to see. That just makes me wonder if the jeans are fake and that's one of the reasons she selling them.
The second one Farrah is right that the pics don't match so I'd be a little weary of it. I'll look at the last link in a second.
Edit: Hmm not sure about the last one. I would ask though before bidding what her authenticity guarantee is and what happens if they aren't real. Then once that is in writing I would bid because if you notice there is not metion of authenticity or any guarantees on it.

They are still carried by the stores, but not always. Usually if the store has tons of different styles, they will have the A pockets, but if they just have a few, they won't.
I weigh 125 lbs. I wear an 8 in most jeans, and I wear a 30 in Sevens. I have one pair that is a 29 and I feel like they are too tight and rarely wear them. It may just be a matter of how you like your jeans to fit. I think if I were to wear the A-pockets, I would even size up to 31. I have tried them on before and they fit all wrong. Way too low cut for me.
huh... I guess the sizing really depends on the fit you want! I am about the same size and have these exact jeans (adore them) in a 28. One thing to keep in mind is that they WILL stretch, even though they are the rigid cotton; I generally get jeans as tight as will fit on my body, and then by the time I've worn them for a few hours they stretch out to the right fit. It's really tough to buy jeans that expensive online for the first time... could you find a store somewhere in your area and try on a pair of rigid sevens just for the size and then buy the pink ones online accordingly?

sephorablue, I just thought of something: both pairs of Sevens I have are not stretch. That may be why we are wearing different sizes.
I agree with you about trying them on in person although I wish Meow the best of luck with the ones she has ordered.
