Will this still be cute next year, or is it a trendy "fall 2004" piece that will sit in my closet through all of fall 2005 and so on? I've loved it ever since it came out and I've never seen it in stores. It's finally on sale (granted $129.99 isn't a huge drop from $160 but still...)
It's only available in plum at www.labellosangeles.com. I really loved the kelly green, but the plum is really nice too and it would probably be super-versatile in my wardrobe. I am just seeing this as a very "me" piece during the fall and winter.
BTW anyone have any clue on Grey Any sizing? I'm a 2/4 in mall stores and a boutique 4/6.
I love that dress so much and I am kicking myself for not getting it when it was on Girlshop and my friend could have used her 40% employee discount!
I don't think it's super trendy so I'm sure you will still want to wear it in the fall.
BTW I've been stalking it on Lisa Kline for a while and not only has it not gone on sale but a few of the colors have sold out! How much longer can this stay full price for??
Hi lilykind! I have this Grey Ant skirt from Label-la, I used the code "toutie" to get 20% off of my skirt (I think it was around $129.99- shipped with code it was around $112) I would call and ask more details about sizing- I asked for my skirt and they were really helpful. There aren't refunds on sale items so you need to be careful. I bought a size 6 in the skirt, which I was told runs small. It was tight through the hips but loose in the waist- so I am going to try to get it taken in an inch or so. I didn't want to exchange for the 4 though just in case the hips didn't fit- they do take exchanges so if you get the dress and it doesn't fit, call immediately and ask them to put the other size on hold until they receive your return. I think I could have bought the 4 though even though the skirt runs small- so maybe you should get a 4 if you are told this runs true to size- you don't want the dress to be baggy and I don't think the skirt was THAT small. Oh, I found the dress on the Lisa Kline site and it says it runs s-m-l...HMM. I would call, but I would guess that you're a size small. The teals pretty too!
It just seems like this is one of those items that if you love it you must get it. I think if it screams "you" & you can't stop thinking about it, you should have it. Myself, I could never pull it off, but you have such a great personal style that you definately could = should! (I'm such an enabler i know)

LA girls, I actually work about 5-10 minutes away from Lisa Kline. Do you think the B&M would have the dress in stock, or maybe in their outlet store on Melrose? Worth a call at least?
(I've heard not so great things about Lisa Kline's customer service, which is why I've always hesitated to shop there...)
Cute, Lilykind, with one caveat: are you short? I am not sure if I would like this is if the skirt wasn't pretty short, like it is shown on the models wearing it. It might look off if it was mid-thigh length or so.
However, I do love Grey Ant. I have 2 things by them and find them either tts or slightly on the smaller side of things. They definitely don't size up, and from the one top I have, I would not say they're exactly made for us chesty types either. ;)

I am kinda short (around 5' 3" on a good day) but I'd probably wear heels or at least kitten heels. However, I'm too tall to wear petites clothing.
