My local PL did not have several things that were shown online, those included. That line in general gets a "mixed" from me. For example there were some cute satin flats, but the soles were so flimsy they weren't likely to last long.

i was intrigued by your comment about the satin flats, b/c i have been eyeing some J Crew ones. so i looked them up and found these:

which seem to be a knock-off of the exact pr from j crew that i want:

the jc ones are noticeably nicer, but $17 is much more affordable than the $98 jc price! so, how thin/flimsy were they? i may need to take a trip to my nearest payless soon to check them out. i don't want to spend a lot of $ on satin flats that could get ruined or dirty pretty easily so this may be a good alternative. sorry to hijack.

Those aren't the ones I saw, but they are cute! The Lela Rose flats were a holiday item I think - berry red satin with some black piping. Very very cute, but the soles were just thin rubber, almost like slippers.

Those sound cute too. I wonder if insoles would make them wearable? I should go today - just to check. I'll report back.

I know. I don't think $98 is that bad for j crew shoes, but I'm sure they'll go on sale or there will be a % off code eventually. But I might get the Payless ones in the meantime (or instead if they work out well)!

Great idea with the Payless alternative. Satin pink will def stain easily but at $17 who cares?

i've seen them in real life and they are really cute. that being said, i just got a pair of lela rose for payless wedges and they are super uncomfortable and i can't figure out if it's a quality issue or i just got the wrong size. (when i tried on my normal size they were swimming on my feet so i sized down.)

i got the pink satin flats from payless today. the soles are pretty thin but for the price i don't care. they look pretty cute on, although the shape of the JC ones are a bit cuter. the fit is TTS, if a tiny bit big. hope that helps someone! if i can ever get my sh*t tog. i'll post a TS wearing them.
