The Christian Loutoutin shoes I ordered from Gilt last week arrived yesterday. They are every bit as fabulous in person as they were online. I sized up since I wasn't too sure on their sizing and in shoes that remotely pointy I tend to need to size up. So the toe part fits well. No pain, just right.
The heel area is the problem (as always with pumps). My heel slips out the back of the shoe when I try to walk in them. I've tightened the strap that goes from the heel to the toe area as tight as possible. That helped the left foot but not the right foot. Is there anything else I could try that works or should I just send them back and try again next time?
I always have this probably (actually I just asked about if the other week.) I use these heel grips that stick to the back of the inside heel. They are clear so they don't ruin the look of the shoe. I just bought a bunch at Osco and used to be able to buy them at Target. Dr. Scholls is the brand. Someone also suggested Payless as a possible source for the grips.
So the grips actually help? I did a google search and came up with them but wasn't sure if they actually worked or not. Guess I'll pick them up when I make my returns at Target tomorrow. Thanks!
I have this problem with a lot of my heels - heels slipping out - and I swear by the Foot Petals heel grips they sell at Target. They always work for me! Those shoes are too pretty to send back.
