I've never bought anything from zappos.com before. Whenever I've found some shoes I liked, they were out of my size.
I've been looking all over for an evening bag to go with an outfit to wear to a wedding. I've looking in stores and online, and at the suggestion of a board member I looked through a bunch of thrift shops and bridal stores yesterday. I saw some lovely and unusual things, but nothing just right. Last night I came home and looked on zappos.com and found what I hope is the bag. I ordered it last night, and this morning I got an e-mail saying that even though I ordered standard delivery, they expedited it and it will be here Tuesday!
I'm wondering how typical this is--do they often do this, or is this just because I am a first-time customer?
I have placed several orders with them and have even sent a couple back and they always expedite my shipping. I am glad they did it for you. They have the best customer service.
The few orders I've placed with Zappos, it seems like they always upgrade the shipping and I get the shoes next day.
My standard zappos disclaimer is that the shoes are generally marked up a few bucks to cover the "free" shipping - they're still a deal but it's worth double checking prices imo, just to be careful.
I think they always do this, they have done so w/ all of my orders. It's fantastic when you order a pair of shoes one night, and they arrive the next day. I love them.
I love Zappos! They've done this everytime I've ordered from them. They also have the greatest price-matching policy and a very easy and painless return policy. They should be awarded for their great customer service.
