Shoes with that many little ties around the ankle and that much going on around the toes are, IMO, almost never very comfortable. But they're pretty hot...I'd say try them on and find out the comfort factor...my understanding is that Betsey shoes are very well made.

I agree the shoes are very hot!!  I feel like maybe Steve Madden made some similar for a lot cheaper but I'm sure Betsey's are more comfortable than Steve's and I doubt that either feel very comfortable.
