Hi everyone! For anyone who was interested, here are a bunch of photos from my wedding on November 22, 2008. We were married at a historic mansion in Rhode Island at 5pm and it was just an amazing day. It was incredibly freezing (about 10 degrees) and very windy - made for some great outdoor photos since I wore a long veil!
We worked really hard to personalize the wedding -- almost all of the details, except our bouquets and boutonnieres, were DIY projects. For example, my dad and I chose 2 trees from the woods at my childhood home in VT, and he drove them all the way to RI. We hung candles in glass cups from them and wired them with orchids, and they flanked the fireplace throughout the ceremony and reception. Jeff and I designed, printed, cut, and assembled all the paper products ourselves. Any brides to be -- little things like this can take a lot of work and time but we thought it was very worth it :)
There are a bunch below, but if you'd like to see more photos, check out my photobucket album at this link (note: the slideshow view pixelates some of the pics, but when viewed outside of slideshow mode they're fine):

Congrats. Your wedding was beautiful. I love how you took trees from where you grew up at and had them there. The candles and all the low lights were so pretty, its was the perfect touch. I love how you wore your hair.

I have to say: EVERYTHING about your wedding looks gorgeous. It looks like every detail was thought through and really well photographed. I love the cake too--that is too cute with the little lovebirds on top!
Everything was beautiful from your hair, your dress, the location-what a gorgeous wedding! I also think the picture of your hubby looking at you walking up is priceless. Also, your cake is seriously the cutest wedding cake I have ever seen. I love that it doesn't look like everyone else's wedding cakes.
