opinions - F21 motorcycle peacoat with asymetrical zipper - get it or skip it??

i tried on a short asymetrical motorcycle jacket that was in peacoat material (i.e. wool or acrylic?) and not leather.  it was the last one and on sale (final) for $21.  this looks similar, but there are no bell sleeves and i don't recall it having a mandarin collar.  this isn't the same jacket but is the closest pic i could find online.

Asymmetrical Zipper...

i'm thinking about getting it for next fall/winter.  do you think it will still be in?  any opinions on this type of jacket in general?  likes, dislikes, ideas on what to wear with it?  it's only $20 but when you are paying cash for all your clothing purchases like i am - that's a lot.  :)

so should i get it or skip it?

thanks, carmen.  it's actually much cuter irl.  i plan on wearing it with wide leg trousers so as to avoid the whole biker chic look, which i'm not into personally (but i like it on other people).  any other opinions? 

the sleeves are normal on the one i saw and don't flare at the bottom.

I think it's a classic shape/style so you'll be able to wear it for a long time.

I think the idea of it is a good way to "edge" up your look without going overboard (especially the way you want to style it.) I say get it and enjoy!

I like it. I didn't read the post before I looked at the picture, and I thought, 'hmm, if the sleeves were different, that'd be really cute...' Now I know that the sleeves are different, and I say get it. I think ithe style is pretty versatile and won't look dated any time soon, if ever.
