I am looking for some new flip flops since i live in them in the summer.  I would like some cute ones that are also comfy.  The ones that have rubber thongs by the toes are uncomfortable and rub, causing blisters, so I'm looking for ones w/fabric or leather there.  Any help would be much appreciated.  Oh, I also don't like super flat soles.  Thanks!

I don't know how casual you want them to be, but I just got these from LL Bean, and they're so cute.  The footbed is unusual for flips.  It's very cushiony, almost has a terry cloth feel.  They sell them in 6 different prints and colors.  I have a feeling I'm going to live in them this summer.  Sorry for the huge pic.  They're $15 btw.

Don't know if this is your style but I love my rainbows.  They mold to your feet as you wear them so they're super comfy.  They also have them with a higher wedge if you like.  These are the ones I have and they're great for everyday with pretty much any lounge and sometimes going out outfits.  The whole shoe is made of soft leather and only the tiny in the middle of your toe part is soft fabrick. Never gotten a blister from them myself and most shoes give me blisters.  Although a bit expensive for just a flip-flop range from $45-$50.  HTH!

Old Navy has some really cute ones in the store. They have fun polo stripes in bright colors with a stretchy, cloth ribbon thong.


These are also pretty cute.  Also Old Navy, can't beat the price!

I love Reefs.  They are super comfy, classic and great quality. The have a lot of different styles, but the Butter style, $36, is my favorite:

I get the ones with cloth between the toes from old navy. They are comfy and don't rub blisters. I have some with that straw type footbed and I hate them. It might just be me but they are uncomfortable.

I bought some Juicy ones last year and they are awesome also. They have elastic bands and they don't rub.

I second this recommendation; Reefs are the only flip flops I can wear (comfort-wise), and they hold up really, really well.

i am eyeing some bernardo "miami" flip flops.  they are cheaper if you go to bizrate.com or lori's on armitage has a bunch of cute flip flops (including those) right now.

These are probably my favorite flips.  They are Mella, on sale for $21, so some sizes are sold out.  I have two of the same exact ones, I am saving the second pair for when my current one runs out.  They run a tad small- I am a 9 to a 9.5 and the 10 fits perfectly.  I love them, so comfy.

I bought them from www.mellausa.com.  High praises for them.  I bought them about 2 years ago and I'm still on my first pair (though the soles are a bit dirty)
