My boss just got me a new laptop and an ugly roller bag to go with it. I refuse to use the roller bag but I know that just keeping it in my tote bag without any protection probably isn't the best idea (my old laptop looked pretty ratty when I turned it in and who knows what it did to the actual computer part!). Anyway, anyone seen any cute laptop sleeves? Prob don't want to spend more than 40. I want to keep in my tote bag I take to work, so nothing too bulky. I just looked on etsy, they have lots of cute ones but they are all fabric so I'm not sure how much protection they would provide.
Oh, and its a ibm thinkpad/lenova x200 if that matters - I've seen a lot that were specifically for macs.
I have a laptop bag from etsy seller janinekingdesigns and I love it. It is fabric but it's lined with a layer of closed cell foam (or something that feels like it--it's dense but not bulky). It's really well made and has held up beautifully. Plus you get to choose from a ton of fabrics. She also makes laptop sleeves in a bunch of sizes.

Amazon sells a ton. I haven't looked at them lately. But, if you want selection, that's the place to go. Belkin (I think that's the name) makes ones in some pretty colors (like brown and aqua).
They actually have some really cute ones at Walmart for like $15, bright polka dots, florals, etc. They are with the office supplies, not the electronics. HTH!
