I've been searching E-Bay and haven't found too many knockoffs.  I've been searching under Shrugs.  Is there another search I should be doing?  Here are a couple I've found so far.  What do you think, cute enough??  Or should I just buy the real BCBG?

I think you should get a knockoff.  You could get a nice pair of shoes or jeans for the $140 that the bcbg one costs.  IMO a knockoff will probably serve you well for the amount of time these are in style.

i agree with karina. while it's cute, i can't really see a reason to pay $140 for that shrug, especially since it's  a look that has been overdone in my area (on nye my friend and i literally started counting the number of girls who were wearing that shrug).


anyway i don't like to rain on people's parades, so if it's something that you feel you can get a lot of wear out of, then go for it. but i personally would hold out a bit more for a cheaper version.

i work there and i can't tell the difference.  i'm serious.  i guess there's a nordstrom knockoff too, and i just thought it was a bcbg one in a different color.


maybe i'm bias cuz i have been looking at them for so long, but i don't think they are going to be "around" too much longer.


i say knock off!!!  like the other girls say, save your money for something else.  weren't you looking at brown shoes?!  (although, there i am again being bias, i'm such a shoe person)!

I bought a knock off and I'm very pleased with it. If you look around I think you can find something suitable for much less. I paid like $25 for mine. I've seen them all over....that nordstrom one is cute and I've also seen them at Rampage and Wet Seal.

But if you love the BCBG one and want to pay that much, I don't think it's totally outrageous. It's ok to buy stuff you really love (I just posted a $215 shrug so I can't justify trying to talk you out of a $140 one).

I compared it to the BCBG and they are almost IDENTICAL.  I don't think people can tell the difference.  I would've never paid $140 for something so trendy.  I can't believe more people aren't buying the Nordstrom one.  It's awesome, trust me!!  Use the extra $100 and buy yourself an awesome pair of shoes :)


ETA: if there is a Carson Pirie Scott near you, they have a similar one in their junior dept and it's even cheaper!  Less than $30.  I'd go there or another dept. store first.  HTH!
