I think it all really depends on what you wear it with. The black makes it a little more sophisticated, but wearing it with anything casual (like jeans and a cardi) would make it look too custy/little girl to me. I like how GG styled it. Her dress makes it look almost retro to me.

ITA. Love it, but only with the right outfit. LOVE Blair's headbands (all of them).

Awww...love! I think what would make it work is the fabric...if it was that ribbed cotton ribbon stuff that little girl's bows are made of I'd vote no...but in this fabric it could look so luxe.
I'm not convinced one way or the other. It looks more subtle in the photos, and the bow looks slightly smaller and softer. I also think having fluffy wavy hair helps. It wouldn't work on me, that's for sure.
love it! where is it from? i've had one (the one that gets the most wear actually) that the bow is on top of the headband - parallel (vs. yours perpendicular)? love it. btw - I'm 29 but I get compliments whenever I wear the headband w/the bow.
Ok, I think I'm going to try this. It's not too expensive so I don't have a whole lot to lose! I'll post in TS when I experiment with it
