3 of my auctions have sold. 1 person has paid me. 1 person has yet to respond to my e-mails, I have sent 3.
And the third person, bless her heart, won the Kristen Lee boots and then e-mailed me after the auction ended to tell me that 1)she thought the $22 shipping charge was $2 (she misread it) and 2)she once ordered shoes from Canada and it was only $14 to ship so could I charge her the real cost? Of course, the boots are heavy, and in an oversized box, and I charge a small surcharge ($2-$3) on my shipping because I have to take a cab and ferry to get to the post office - which I state in my auctions! I e-mailed her back and said if she wanted me to ship without the box it would be $17. She agreed to that and I have yet to hear from her, or receive any payment.
*sigh*
I had to file 2 NPB claims last month when I tried to sell 4 items. This is really starting to feel like more trouble than its worth.

Do you think the reason you've had Non paying bidders is that you live in Canada and the shipping time is so long? Just asking because I won an auction a couple of months ago and the seller was located in Canada. I sent her a very polite email asking if the shipping she offered was the only type available, or if I could pay more and get express shipping. I told her I understood if I couldn't, it was fine. I was just curious. She emailed me back and basically went off on me. She explained in great detail how the postal service works and how when she dropped off the package at the post office it was "out of her hands". No sh*t. I assumed she would hand deliver it to my doorstep!!! Anyway, I assume that she'd run into people bitching before and that's why she was so aggressive towards me. Do you get shipping complaints a lot?
Well, I don't understand why people are bidding if they don't want to put up with the long shipping time (and it IS longer from here than there - not that she should have been rude to you, I would be quite happy to work with these people if they wnated to pay more for express shipping). I put it in every one of my auctions that shipping might be quite a bit longer than they are used to for items coming from within the US.
I just don't get why people bid on things they don't want? It's almost always very new eBayers, people with 0-5 FB.
