Keds just came out with a new line of shoes called their "Green Label" that are made with:
100% organic cotton
non-toxic inks and dyes
recycled rubber
recycled water-bottles
You can get more information here. This is the first pair of shoes I've ever seen that are environmentally friendly, so I thought I would share! What do you guys think? Any other "green" fashion tips??
Well, this isn't as fun, but the greenest thing would be to limit how much you buy in the first place. If you need new shoes or jeans, then going organic or "green" is the best choice. But even better is not buying shoes or jeans you don't actually need, organic or not. Going thrifting is good too - it's cheaper and you're buying things that have already been used, so you're not putting as much of a demand on the factories making new clothing.

I've seen plenty that are marketed as eco-friendly, but some of that is greenwashing.
Yeah, I dig the Green Label Keds because they're legit - if you're making shoelaces out of 100% water bottles, you're definitely trying to make a difference.
I think the willow lace up are really cute - they remind me of some vans I had a million years ago (I like the black version here):
Me too! I loved Vans and Airwalks back in the day.
