I just got a Nu-bra thing, after hearing such great things about them for so long. I tried it on yesterday, and it just looks .... wrong. I tried positioning it a bunch of ways, and even tried the cups on upside-down to see if that looked better. Nope. It makes it look like I have slightly-saggy ski-slopes, and I don't! I swear!
What's up with these things? Would sizing up have helped?

I have one too. My mom gave it to me after she had her boob job and didn't need it anymore and yeah, it looks weird. I've wanted to use it a few times, but it doesn't really work well as a bra. It definitely makes my boobs look bigger, but it doesn't do anything to keep them lifted up, so as a result, they just look droopy. Plus, they're too big to wear with my normal bra, so I don't think I've ever actually worn them. I'm glad I didn't pay for them myself.
A few years ago I needed a solution for a low back gown with spagetti straps and ordered a nu-bra. It took too long to arrive so I found a similar product locally. Neither worked and now I have two that I paid for sitting in a cupboard.
If you are looking for solution products senses lingerie (online store) has a lot of options. I ended up with the re-usable clear tape that is sort of crescent shaped.

I think it works best for the smaller-breasted IMO. AND you really have to practice applying them. So they stay up and perky and not just bring the ladies down. I wish I would have sized up for more coverage, but the salesgirl at Nordies told me they can kind of buckle or fold if I go up too much and there's empty space?
I had a pair of these. The sticky wasn't as resilient as they made it seem. They did make me droop, probably due to the weight of them. I only wore them with tops that were tight enough to sort of lift everything up. They don't provide enough support to compare to a bra but can add cleavage and volume.
I wear my nu bra with backless tops and halters and it seems to work fine for me. I'm a solid B and I own it in the C size per someone's suggestion (I can't remember who anymore). I apply the cups first, higher than you would think, then clip the middle. I do notice after having one a while it doesn't stick as well which makes it sort of droop and I have to keep readjusting. I don't have the special cleaner for it though so I end up buying a new one.
