So my C ronsons are fine for walking to and from dinner (but no further!) and my steve maddens (weaverr) hurt like ungodly hell. Most slingbacks destroy my ankles - I am currently healing from awful scabby blisters from wearing the SMs for like 4 hours indoors.. I swear, I barely moved, and now the backs of my ankles are ripped to shreds. I need a cute brown sandal to wear when cruising the neighborhood on weekends ...something for when I need a slight heel - I have short legs. Plus, pumas and flips aren't so cute with many dresses and skirts...
So what do we think of these for daytime wear? dowdy or daytime cute? brown.
i have these steve madden "lockets" and they are super comfy. if you look closely there is a large bed of cushioning unlike most steve madden shoes. also, if you read the customer reviews on zappos they recieve great reviews. they are the only shoes that i can wear for 9 hours.
$65

i have those dr. scholl's in black and because the material is pretty stiff, it doesn't conform to my feet (so it pokes the top of my feet). i've also slipped across the floor so many times cuz the bottom doesn't have traction (i'm trying to save you guys all the money i've spent on trying to find the magic comfortable shoe!!!) i like the second ones.

I like the aerosoles, dc! I think they have a cute retro vibe that is similar to the c. ronsons. I have actually been eyeing them myself. Don't you think if you saw them on a cute/stylish girl (like any of us) it would make you want them??

Those are the kind of shoes I have to see on to really let you know, but they look like they have potential. Considering how basic they are I can't see wearing them as ever being a fauz pas or anything.
I kind of like the second pair shopgirl posted better, but thats because the heel is longer and skinner, which may not translate into comfy.
Try 'em and see! Let us know if they work for you or if you do find that perfect pair.
