demanding bidders!

I have to laugh - I am selling a little MJ bag and it is getting a lot of interest, as it should b/c it is adorable.

So I have gotten mails from more than one person (one girl, who is pretty funny, has asked more than once) asking me to add a BIN to the auction - fair enough, but I am not going to because I have a lot of watchers and I think the bidding will go well. Then this other girl sends a message (I hope it's not one of you!) and not only asks me to add a BIN, she asks for a "discount!" I had to laugh - I mean, isn't it in my best interest to let the item get bid UP, not down?

I know! Esp because I make it sort of clear in my description that I am really sad to let the bag in question go. Yeah, like I want to sell it for a "discount!"

i have been getting a lot of demanding emails, too...plus people asking questions that are already answered in my listing (hopefully not any of you guys, it happens but i just feel like no one ever bothers to read the damn thing).  i'm glad there's so much interest in my listings but it starts to get really burdensome answering the same questions over and over again.  and if i get one more bidder who tries to pay me any other way than PayPal, i will go ballistic.

What's a BIN?

I probably wouldn't even respond.  You don't have any obligation to answer questions of people who haven't won an auction, right?  People are already interested; you shouldn't have to get into discussions of discounts with people.

I don't answer the questions at least 50% of the time from buyers.  IF the question requires me to do further investigating or additional work, then I don't answer. I already included the information I care to and I am not interested in running around like a dog trying to respond and get information for potential buyers (that tend to be a hassle anyway) for a few bucks. I would rather lose the business than make myself spend more time then I initially intended to on an auction.

Plus, a lot of times they do ask for information clearly stated in the auction, or write in asking me to mail overseas when my auctions state I only ship to the US.

I can't be bothered with such small stuff so I ignore it.  Plus, if your dense enough to ask me for information I already provided, then I propably don't want to deal with you anyway.  That's what I recommend  for everyone.
