Thought I'd start the thread this time. I start a new job next Monday (thank God) and needed some new work essentials. I took complete advantage of the Gap sale:
Haven't seen these in person so we'll see...
In black, pink and blue
In black

I hope I don't buy too much more (you never know), but so far:
Vanessa the enabler turned me on to the 30% off code at Go Clothing, so I was powerless to resist and FINALLY ordered my antiks (yay!) - sorry the pic is huge.
This top from styledose (ebay seller), just because it's nice to have a black top to throw on:
This green beaded necklace from firoma (also ebay - love this seller!) to go with a little yellow floral smocked top I have.

thanks, Tati and detroit! Now to find a tailor who can do the hem re-attach thing so I don't lose the cool whipstitching when I get them hemmed (my inseam is no 34 inches!)
Detroit - I know, isn't firoma great? Good prices - I have like 4 or 5 things from him now. It's just fun summer stuff... and he's so nice.

yes - can't lose the hem on those! they are so cool... I wanna copy...
and the jewelry - it is just fun summer stuff - one of the necklaces I got is coconut rings and turquoise beads to wear specifically with my bikini - considering how little I paid and how casual it is it's fun to have it for beach jewelry...

I bought this on ebay. The chain strap might be annoying but I thought it would be cool for the spring and summer. It was a good deal and if I don't like it in person I can always relist it.
I'm hooked on firoma, too - thanks for the recommendation, dc! I just got these pretty little things from him:
I also got this chocolate brown top this weekend (along with a chocolate brown cord blazer for next fall) - so I also seem to be hooked on all things chocolate brown...
ETA: I also just bought this UO leather bag. Someone else posted it recently and it just stuck in my mind. It's just the kind of bag I needed.
Thanks for all the nice comments about the kimono top, girls. I was a little bit on the fence about it, but now that I've tried it on at home I'm really excited. It works with so many different outfits, I think I'm going to get a fair bit of use out of it considering what a unique item it is.
dc: I'm so glad you decided to go w/ the Antik jeans. I finally saw them in person at Anthro and they are so hot!
I bought this after my first post.
I am now so back on the shopping ban. I need to save up for a little shopping in Vancouver at the end of the month - although it is not such a bargain now that the US $ is in the toilet. Anyway, please slap me upside the head if I buy anything in the next couple of weeks.

I ordered the shoes, so I'll give you a review when I get them. I'm a little worried that they will look cheap IRL or that the quality will be questionable, so we'll see. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
