Work wardrobe - a little help needed.
Permalink Closed

Hi, girls. I need some suggestion for what to wear to work in spring. It's already pretty warm in the office.
The dress code is "business casual", and I need layers and nice but comfy shoes!

I am a little at loss, here, since I have always worked in the lab, where the uniform involves jeans every day.

If you have ever seen my thread style, you have a good idea of my style - otherwise, I am curious to see what you come up to!

Thanks! heart.gif

I find dresses and shifts to be very comfortable, versatile, and easy to dress up or down.  you can wear jackets or sweaters over them, boots, flats, heels, and accessorize to change thier look.  they make it so easy to get ready in the morning too - just throw on a dress...

I really liked some of othe looks in Boden's spring catalog (as you all know since I've posted a few items from them.) There's even more outfit ideas on their site:

My polyvore sets aren't ever pretty, but hopefully you can look past the ugliness of the layout :)

ETA: I know it's small here, I don't know how to make it bigger on ST, but if you click it and go to polyvore I think you should be able to see it bigger

I work in a very casual office and I've found that you can get a lot of milage out of mixing & matching basics.

I remember you mentioning in a threadstyle that you have to walk a lot for work.  I think an interesting flat would come in handy.

Thanks girls! I like all of your suggestions. Especially, I love lots of the dresses you showed. I think I am gonna buy at least 3 or 4 of them... Plus, I needed some layering pieces (like cardis), but I have already provided to this need biggrin. Will show pics on the style thread.
Thanks again! smile
